Hales, Norman James

Peacefully in his 91st year on June 22, 2017. Devoted husband of the late Muriel. Fondly remembered by his sister in-law Belle Hales and her children Allan and Patricia. Norman will be sadly missed by his nieces Marilyn Mercer and Martha (Miguel DeSantis) and their sons Matthew and Michael whose visits and treats were special to him. A thank you to Maureen and Vickie, his church family at Graceview Presbyterian Church and his compassionate caregivers Sherry, Tenzen and Natalie.
Born in Belfast Ireland. He came to Canada as a young adult where he met a beautiful girl Muriel Mercer. They married on June 27, 1959, together until her passing in 2009.
As an avid Jays fan, Norm now has the best seat in the house to watch his beloved Blue Jays “Go Jays Go”
A graveside service of cremated remains will take place at a later date.
