Nazleene “Naz” Mohamed August 3, 1965 – April 12, 2026
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nazleene “Naz” Mohamed on April 12, 2026, at the age of 60.
Born in Georgetown, Guyana, Naz later made Toronto her home where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Lenny Ramdihal, and a proud and loving mother to her son, John Mohamed-Ramdihal.
Naz was the cherished daughter of Shaimune Mohamed (nee Sattaur) and John (Zaman Mohamed) Benjamin, and a dear sister to Abdul Munaf Mohamed. She was a deeply loved aunt to her niece, Tiffany Lopes, and Tiffany’s husband, Taylor Lopes, and a proud great-aunt to Benjamin and Jacob Lopes.
Nazleene cherished the love of her large family, her many cousins, in-laws, aunts and uncles, and nieces and nephews from the Sattaur, Mohamed and Ramdihal families.
Professionally, Naz was an accomplished Project Manager, known for her sharp attention to detail and ability to always stay one step ahead. She approached her work with dedication and excellence, earning the respect of those around her.
Outside of her career, Naz lived life with joy and passion. She was a true foodie, known for both her incredible home-cooked meals and her love of discovering exceptional restaurants and dishes. She had an eye for fashion and a timeless sense of style, always carrying herself with grace and confidence. She loved Bollywood movies and music and was always ready with a great recommendation.
Naz found happiness in life’s simple and joyful moments. This included singing karaoke with her family, attending concerts and live shows, and sharing laughter with those she loved. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel special. Whether this was through her thoughtful ability to give someone the perfect gift or her warm, open-hearted nature. She welcomed everyone with open arms and had a way of making people feel instantly at home.
Holidays, especially Christmas, held a special place in Naz’s heart. She cherished bringing family together and creating beautiful traditions. She has made many lasting memories that will be treasured forever.
Naz will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, compassion, and sense of humor. She was someone who always thought of others first, who gave so freely of herself, and who lived life fully and joyfully.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
