Nancy passed away suddenly on the afternoon of Wednesday August 31. She leaves behind her husband of 46 years, David, her son Michael (Emily), her daughters Stephanie (Matt) and Susan, her grandchildren Jessica, Hailey and David, her 101 year-old mother Edith, her sisters Donna (Ken) and Marilyn, her brother Gordie (Janet), and several nieces and nephews. A celebratory funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army, Yorkminster Citadel (Highway 401 and Yonge Street) on Saturday September 10 from 11a.m to 12noon, with visitation prior to the funeral service from 9.00 a.m to 10.45 a.m. Interment will be at Glendale Cemetery (Highway 27 and Albion Road, Etobicoke) on Saturday afternoon. It is requested that, in lieu of flowers, any memorial donations be made to The Salvation Army Yorkminster, for Special Projects.
