With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Joan Cannons on May 11, 2025. Nancy was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience, whose kindness and determination touched everyone who knew her.

She was the beloved wife of Peter Cannons, a devoted mother to Scott (Melisa) and Mark (Katie), and the proud, adoring grandmother of Olivia, Willow, and Sophie—her absolute pride and joy.

Nancy faced every challenge in life with courage, and we are grateful for the care she received at Princess Margaret Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the hospital in recognition of the incredible support they provided.

She was a cherished presence in the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
