Najla Melhem

MELHEM, Najla (née Khairallah), born on November 15, 1915, Bhamdoun, Lebanon. Passed away at age 102 on June 4, 2018, in Brampton, Ontario. Najla was the loving wife of the late Raji Melhem. She is survived by her children, Fadwa Jarjour, Nuha Melhem, Salwa Melhem, Michel Melhem, Daniel Melhem and Adibe Geadah Ogley; grandchildren, Roger, James, Rony, Violette, Rana, Roger, Ryan and Michelle and great-grandchildren, Robyn, Kevin, Veronica, Elio, Sebastian, Bennett, Finley and Christina. Najla will be sadly missed by her loving extended family in Lebanon, Canada and U.S.A. Special thanks to the medical team and nursing staff at Brampton Civic Hospital for their compassion and excellent care and Reverend Geoff Ross and the whole community of St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Brampton for their loving kindness and support. Donations can be made directly to St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Brampton. Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, Brampton, ON L6W 2C5 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM on Thursday June 7th. Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Brampton, ON, 44 Church St. E. at 11:00AM on Friday June 8th.
