It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Nabil Ibrahim. Surrounded by his loved ones, Nabil went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2023.

Cherished husband to Wafa, loving father to his children, Lena, Tania (Stephen), Julie and proud grandfather to Lucas, Andrew, Grace and Mila. Devoted brother to the late Julia and late Antoine, George Josephine, Hind, Joseph, Kamil and Ramzi. He is survived by his many nieces and nephews. He will lovingly be remembered by his countless family and friends.

Nabil’s journey was from Syria to Canada in the 1970’s for an opportunity for a better future and to build his family. He took great pride in his work and loved his family and friends. Always the first to lend a hand and share an abundance of wisdom derived from his love of God and inquisitive nature. The simplest pleasures in life brought him great joy. His integrity, humour and good nature was his legacy. May his memory be Eternal.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge, on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (9116 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill) on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 12:00 noon. Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Vaughan.
