Muriel Moran

Muriel Fleming Moran (nee Lucas) – on Thursday, February 7th, 2013, after a long and hard-fought illness, Muriel passed away. Predeceased by her loving husband, Bruce (2009). Wonderful mother of Deborah (John), Kathryn (Charles), Judy (Ostap), David, and Paul (Selena). Loving grandmother of Brendan, Craig, Alyssa, Paul, Scott, Adrian, Natalie, Lucas, Nathan and Adrian. Jim and Nada, our honorary family members, have once more have proven what true love is. Mom will be deeply missed by brother Bill Lucas (Marge) and sister-in-law Lenore Greer. Predeceased by mother Lily and sister Eileen. Muriel was constantly surrounded by the love of family and will be missed by her many friends, including her lifelong friend Allison Walker. Deep gratitude to the wonderful staff at The Village of Humber Heights, Ben, Dr. Swartz, Trillium Heart Clinic, Anna and Daisy. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of mom’s life will take place on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 from 12 noon – 2 p.m. at the Lambton Golf Club, 100 Scarlett Road. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dorothy Ley Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
