POUZAR, Miroslav “Mirek” “Mike”
Peacefully at his home with his wife by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of Nofi. Loving and proud father of Justin and his wife Sara and Rosemarie and her husband David Vickers, and by Peter, Kathy and their families. Fondly remembered by Eva, Mirek, and Ivana, of the Czech Republic. Arriving in Canada in 1949 with only the clothes on his back, he will be remembered for his dedication to his family, always having a great sense of humor, and being an active “brother” of the Sokol Toronto organization. Mike will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Wednesday May 9, 2012 from 12:30pm until the time of service in the chapel at 2:30pm. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church or to Sokol Toronto, both c/o 496 Gladstone Ave., Toronto ON M6H 3H9 would be greatly appreciated.
