Mirella Malgeri

It is with profound sorrow that our family announces the passing of our beloved Mirella Malgeri. She left us on the morning of Wednesday April 30 2025, at the age of 60.

Mirella was born on January 3rd, 1965, in Toronto Ontario Canada to Francesco and Natalina Femia. She is survived by her loving husband Rocco, her mother Natalina, her sister Graziella, her brother Vince and sister in law Cindy. She lived a selfless life, with a deep devotion to her family and close friends.

Mirella touched so many lives, even those of the people that never had the chance to meet her personally. Her homemade pastas and desserts for the family restaurant brought a smile to so many faces.

Throughout her journey, Mirella maintained a lifelong commitment to her faith, finding solace in God. Despite facing multiple health related obstacles in her life, she always demonstrated strength, staying true to her beliefs.

Mirella’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She was the cherished mother of Valentina, Alessandra and Vincenzo Malgeri, mother-in-law to Christine Tropea and Shifat Maqbul, and the adored grandmother to Mariam, Jibreel and Ibrahim Maqbul, with another grandchild only months away. Her passing has left an insurmountable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

In this time of immense sorrow, we find comfort in the memories we shared with Mirella and the indelible mark she left on our lives. She will be deeply missed, but her unwavering love will live in all of us and her spirit will continue to inspire us.

Mirella’s visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home "Weston Chapel", 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, ON, M9N 1X7 on Sunday, May 4, at 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane Street, North York, ON, M3M 1A1, on Monday May 5th 2025 at 10:00am, followed by burial at Beechwood Cemetery, 7241 Jane St, Concord, ON L4K 1A7.

May the Lord open up the gates of heaven to her and may she rest in eternal peace.
