FERRANTE, Mike

Surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, May 6, 2011, days shy of his 64th birthday. Beloved husband of Santina, his life partner for 40 years. The greatest dad to Steve and Daniela, Tania and Santo Rando, and Richard and Sandra. Devoted and cherished Nonno to Mia, Olivia, and Ethan. Survived by his parents, Bianca and Verginio Ferrante. Loving brother to Tony (Mary Louise) and Sandra (Tony) Di Fonzo. Mike will be greatly missed by Anna and Giovanni Quattrociocchi, all of his extended family, and numerous friends and colleagues. Mike will always be remembered for his generous smiles, his sincerity and his gentle soul.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Sunday and Monday, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 150 St. Francis Ave, Vaughan on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery
