Peacefully, at the Humber River Regional Hospital-Church Site on Saturday August 4, 2012, Mike Simone at the age of 84. Dearly beloved husband of Maria for 56 years. Loving father of Gerry and Silvio (Marisa). Cherished Nonno of Michael and Christopher. Dear brother of John (Maria) and the late Giuseppe, Mario, Filippo, Franco, Francesca and Marietta. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Tuesday from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 4-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Church (1415 Royal York Rd.) on Thursday at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
