Michele Casà

February 6th, 1946 - April 30th, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Michele Casà, who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on April 30th, 2025, in his 79th year.

Michele was born in Favara, Sicily, Italy on February 6, 1946, to Diego and Giovanna Casà, and was one of seven children. He will be greatly missed by his siblings, Rosa, Salvatore and Giovanna, and he is now reunited with his brothers Giuseppe, Antonio and Gaetano.

He will be greatly missed by the love of his life Maria, with whom he spent 55 wonderful years. Michele was a proud and LOVING father to their children, Giovanna (Angelo), and Dino, and was a loving nonno to Vanessa, Louis, and Annalysse. He will also be sorely missed by his many extended family and friends.

Michele was a family man, who will be remembered for his very charismatic, and free-spirited personality. He was always the life of the party. He poured his heart into everything he did, seized every opportunity presented to him, and enjoyed his life to the fullest and beyond. He will also be remembered for his fierce, competitive spirit as a bocce champion among those closest to him.

Michele was also an avid sports fan, always enjoying a game of hockey or soccer. In his free time, he loved to cook for his family and friends, as well as making wine. He enjoyed spending time outdoors barbecuing, having a picnic or a bonfire and he was very proud and tentative to his vegetable garden.

“Forever loved, always remembered.”
