It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our Beloved Michael. He passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 3:20 a.m. at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario. He is sorely missed by his beloved mother Ruth that cared for him for 52 years and deeply missed by his brother Thomas. Also missing him is his aunt Ruby Elliott and their families, and Uncle Gordon Tyndall. For Michael we had another caregiver family, they are Cecilia, and Nacho, Aldo, and Edgar and families. Michael loved going to Nacho's place, and then they would plan their day, that could be going to malls, restaurants, parks and their family parties. He also learned a few Spanish words and understood them. Also thanks to Christina and her families who worked with Michael for ten years.
Michael was a social butterfly, he loved music, people, monster trucks, parades, cars, trucks, tractors and hockey. Oh! and he loved lawn mowers. He knew the gas lever had to be on and was always looking for it and then would try and start them. He was watching his dad fix them all the time. Most of all he loved Elmo from Sesame Street. There are many aunts and uncles, too numerous to mention, also cousins that I know who are thinking of him at this time and many family and friends.
Michael you fought long and hard. Rest in Peace.
Even at the end, Michael's compassion and thoughtfulness for others shone through as he gave the gift of sight to those in need.
