We are saddened to announce the passing of Michael “Mikey” DaCosta on May 26, 2023 at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
Mikey was outgoing, bubbly and mischievous. Mikey loved to play, climb and run around. His favourite thing to eat was mac n cheese, his favourite movie was Monsters Inc and his favourite thing to do was play with his Thomas the Train set.
Mikey touched every person’s heart who encountered this brave boy. He truly encompasses a hero’s life, with his fearless delight of curiosity, pure joy, and courage.
Mikey will be missed by all who adored and admired him.
