*January 1, 1935 – August 15, 2025*

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Kobos on August 15, 2025, at the age of 90 at Brampton Civic Hospital.

Born on January 1, 1935, in Poland to Jan and Mary Kobos, Mike immigrated to Canada, where he built a life grounded in hard work, love for family, and simple joys. He was predeceased by his beloved brother Gene Kobos and grandson Brian.

Mike was the devoted husband of Polly and proud father of Teresa and Karen (Alan). He was a cherished grandfather (Bompa) to Michelle and Jamie, and a loving great-grandfather (Bompo) to Elijah, Jameson, and Wyatt.

Mike worked as a truck driver for many years—a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, visiting the casino, and relaxing with a good word search puzzle. His quiet strength, sense of humor, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

There won’t be a funeral as we respected his wishes to not have one.
