Mettie Hoekman

In Loving Memory of Mettie Hoekman (nee Dupon)
who peacefully left us on Christmas Day surrounded by her family. She is survived by her dear husband Bill and their children Rod (Linda), Nancy (Scott) and Kevin. Beloved grandmother to Jordan, Jake, Eryn, Evan, Derek and Rebekah. Cherished sister to Ed (Dixie), Dick (Amy), Joyce (Peter), Ann, predeceased by her brother Peter, Ray (Elsie), Brian, Jennie (George), and Fred.
Sister-in-law to Ann (Nick), Femmie (predeceased by Wynn), Tom (Grace), Helen (Martin), and Mans (Rose) as well as many of her nieces and nephews.
She will be forever loved and greatly missed by us all.
Special thanks to all the staff and volunteers at Bethell Hospice for their exceptional care and loving kindness and to Dr. J. Song for always going above and beyond. Your incredible concern for Mettie will always be remembered and appreciated.
Family and friends will be received at CrossPoint Christian Reformed Church in Brampton 444 Steeles Ave. W (North east of McLaughlin Rd.) on Thursday December 29, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. . Internment to be held at Meadowvale Cemetery on Friday December 30, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of Mettie's life at CrossPoint CRC at 11 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethell Hospice in Inglewood or The Bible League of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
