It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mercedes de Venecia Navia on Monday, September 20th, 2010 at her home. Will always be remembered by her husband Adolfo. Her spirit remains to watch over her loving children Solomon, Adolfo (Irene) and Elizabeth. Her heart will always be with her grandchildren Skylar, Emma and Roman. Mercedes will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Flora and Paz as well as her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave W) Weston, on Thursday and Friday from 7-9 pm. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at 10am.Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A Book of Memories may be signed at www.wardfuneralhome.com
