Passed away peacefully at Faith Manor in his 81st year. Predeceased by his parents Isadore and Marie Ange Parsons and siblings Roger, Robert, Raymond, Marcele, Claude, Richard, Harvey and sister Germaine. Maurice is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sybil (nee McCarthy), sisters Jean McLean, and Marlene (Bobby) McLean . Cherrished father to Kathleen (Terry) MacNeal, Sandra (Roy) Willis, Betty (Bob) Hull. Loving Poppa to Sherry-Anne (Kris), Wendy, Tammie (Carlo), Joshua (Yanan), Robert (Rebecca), Steven (Anna), Jonathan, Laura, Melissa (Andre), and James. Adored Great Grandfather to Brittney-Lynn, Chontele, Jacky, Joey, Cassidy, Joshua, Austin, Alexis, Shyanne, Jeremiah, Wesley, and Amelia. A compassionate, family man of few words. Maurice enjoyed a lovely country drive and a good cup of tea. His laughter will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home (52 Main St. S, Brampton) on Thursday December 21, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Friday December 22, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Peel would be greatly appreciated by the family.
