1961- 2013
Maureen has passed away peacefully on Monday March 25, 2013 after a 4 year battle with breast cancer. She will be sadly missed, forever remembered and loved by her husband Christiaan and her two children Elize and Patrick.
Maureen was born on July 4th, 1961 in London, Ontario. Survived by her parents Wynn and Don Burrell, her sisters Susan and Dawn Heather, brother Brian, her brothers in law Kim and Michael, her sister in law Heather, her nieces Gillian, Caitlin, Allison, Lauren and her nephews Christopher and Zachary. Maureen was a dedicated Social Worker for the Dufferin Child and Family Services in Orangeville. She loved and lived life to the fullest, always with a positive humorous outlook. We will miss her but never forget her. At Maureen’s request a funeral service or visitation will not be held. If you like to share a memory with the family, a reception to celebrate Maureen's life is held at the Brampton Golf club on April 6th 2-4 PM.
