Sparks, Mary Kathleen (nee Groves)

Passed away peacefully on May 24, 2012 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Ernest and brothers George and Richard. Beloved mother of Brian (Lynne), Cheryl (Guy) and Kathryn (Robert). Cherished grandmother of Colin, Paula, Derek, Dana, David and Mark. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Layla and Mikayla. Sister of Phyllis Lee and Eddie Groves. Mary was a longtime resident of Malton and a dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion- Branch 528. Special thanks to the nurses and staff- specialty care of Woodhall Park. Family and friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South (Hwy 10), Brampton on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Ward Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
