TAYLOR – Mary Mathilda (Tilly)
Passed away on Wednesday,, October 5, 2011 at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie in her 77th year. Loving daughter of William and Mary Renouf ; sister of Robert, Vince, Charlie, Con, Albert, Johnny, Henry, Mary, and Annie. She was predeceased by her daughter Marilyn. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Judy (Neil) ; her sons Roger (Louise) and DJ (Doreen) ; her granddaughters Janeya, Dawn, and Angie ; and her grandsons Jonathan, William, Casey, Joey and Jordan ; as well as her many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. She holds a special place in the hearts of the many good friends she left behind ; especially Tony Muller, her loving companion and best friend for the last year.
Tilly, and her late husband Art, were very active members of the Royal Canadian Legion and she is remembered fondly for her 30 years involvement with the Ladies Auxiliary at various legion branches. A lover of music and dancing she will be sorely missed at her family get-togethers and Legion functions. One of her great passions was playing the slots and we can only hope there is a casino nearby in her next life.
