LONG, Mary Charlotte (nee Wright) – It is with great sadness that the Long Family says goodbye to their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She passed away June 11, 2012 at Humber River Regional Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
She lived a full and blessed 86 years (or "39 and holding" as she would prefer) and will be remembered for her strength and courage, goodwill, kind spirit and sense of humour. Her legacy is carried on by her sons; Thomas (Shirley), Terrence (Ruth) and daughter; Susan. She was fondly adored and will be remembered by her six grandchildren; Michelle, Ryan, Aaron, Kristyn, Meaghan and Andrea, along with their families, including four great-grandchildren; Emily, Quinn, Piper and baby Logan.

After 35 years she will reunite with her loving husband Orval Thomas John Long, as well as her four siblings; Herbert Wright, Jesse Wright, Ellen Sheppard and Maude Becks. She is survived by her sisters Fannie Woods and Joan Stewart.

Family and friends are welcomed at Ward’s Funeral Home located at 2035 Weston Road (Weston Road & King Street) on Wednesday, June 13th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Central United Church, 1 King Street, Weston with reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the charity of your choice.
