Mary Jones
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday March 19, 2022 at the age of 82. Devoted wife of Tommy for 64 wonderful years. Proud mother of Paul, Nick, Mary (predeceased) and Helen (Mark Holmes). Cherished Baba of Brandon, Kaela and Christian. She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Mary has been reunited with her beautiful daughter Mary.
She will be fondly remembered for her love of her family. Mary enjoyed cooking and knitting for them. A warm hearted soul who would put others before herself. Known to laugh out loud and sing her beloved Greek music.
Mary was uprooted from her homeland of Greece as a teenager. She met her husband Tommy here in GTA and they married when she was 18. Mary had her hands full raising her four children yet still found time to work part time to help with some of the expenses.
Mary often talk about her fond memories of her home in Skopia Florina Greece.
Family and friends will be received at Sts. Constantine and Helen Church 1 Brookhaven Dr., Toronto on Saturday March 26, 2022 from 9- 10 a.m. A mass will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery.
