Figliomeni, Mary (nee Pettalia) – after a long and full life on Sunday, November 13th, 2011 at Sunnybrook Health Centre in her 92nd year. Loving mother and beloved family treasure of Frank (Lorene), Julie (Ugo) Fisico and John. Cherished Nana of Maria, Gina, Frank, Jason, Leah and great grandchildren Daniel, Xavier, Mason and Mitchell. Dear sister of Antonette and Peter and sister in law of Joe Porter and Elizabeth Pettalia. Predeceased by siblings Sosto, Sam, Frank, Joe, Rose, Carmel and daughter in law Georgina. Mary will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbours. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 2100 Jane Street, Toronto. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
