Mary de Verteuil

Peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on January 26, 2018 in her
103rd year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Marcel Robert de Verteuil OBE (1992).
Much loved mother of Ian and the late Joan (Vancouver Island), David and Helen
(Ancaster), Maurice (Hamilton), Yvonne and David Beecroft (England), Michael
and Lois (Oakville), Richard and Phyllis (Australia), Jehanne and the late Graeme
Houghton (England), and Alan and Julie (England). Dear grandmother of Peter,
Suzanne, Andrew, Shannon, Mark, Andrea, Alexandre, Danielle, Julien, Nicole, Mark, Lisa,
Christian, Matthew, Lisha, Rebecca, Marissa, Suzanne, Christina, John, Chantal, Michael and 37 great-grandchildren. She will be missed by many relatives and close friends of the de Verteuil and Ironside families in Canada, Trinidad, Barbados, Martinique, England and the United States. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Annis and the staff at Queens Avenue Retirement Residence for the care and compassion she received during the final years of her life.
Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Mother of God Parish, 2745 North Ridge Trail, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakville Hospital Foundation.
