After a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Mary passed peacefully at Hospice Simcoe with her family at her side. Devoted wife of Ernie Currie (Predeceased). Proud mother of Connie Muhl (Joe), Wayne Lyles, Phil Lyles and Pam Pettit. Cherished grandmother of Dan McCormack (Lynn), Jeffrey Pettit (Dawn), Janice Pettit, Steven Lyles, Scott Lyles, Sandra Cox (Barry), Kimberley Arruda (Wayne McNutt) and Connie Goodwin. Loving great grandmother of Stephanie Dunn (Mike Cox), Danielle McCormack, Tyler McCormack, Noah Godlonton Pettit, Tiffany Goodwin, Ashley Goodwin and Wesley Cox and great great grandmother to Joshua and Brooklyn Cox.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday July 18, 2011
at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Simcoe (336 Penetanguishene Rd. Barrie, ON L4M 7C2) would be appreciated.
