Marlene Oles

Marlene Oles (née Jessop), born February 21, 1935, in Huddersfield, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at Brampton Civic Hospital at the age of 91.

It is with great sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Marlene Oles.

She is survived by her three children, Sharon (Dave), Paul (Nancy), and Michael (Lynn); five wonderful grandchildren; and one cherished great-grandchild, whose arrival brought her immense joy.

Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, our father, Kazik (“Keith”) Oles, who passed away on Christmas Eve in 2020. She smiled when it was suggested that she would see him again in the afterlife. She was also predeceased by her father, Frank Jessop, and her mother, Elsie Jessop (née Smethurst).

May our mother rest in peace and watch over her family, knowing how deeply she was loved. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends, and by everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
