Markos Kalogeropoulos

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Markos Kalogeropoulos, who left us peacefully on May 31, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, on January 15, 1933, Markos was a man of integrity, resilience, and unwavering devotion to his family.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Argina, and his sister, Panagiota. He leaves behind his loving children, Vasilios and Aglaia, his son-in-law Stavros, and daughter-in-law Rita. He was a proud grandfather to Vasilios, Maria, Markos, and Dennis, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.

Markos lived a long and meaningful life—rich not in material possessions, but in love, honor, and the deep respect of all who knew him. He was a man of principle, faith, and quiet strength.

Visitation will be held at St. John Greek Orthodox Church, 1385 Warden Ave., Scarborough, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place St. John Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Jude Wexford Cemetery, 10 Howarth Ave., Scarborough.
