It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Marjorie.
She was a cherished mother to her two daughters and their husbands, a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren who were very precious to her, and the beloved wife of Arthur. They were almost never apart for over 60 years. She will also be remembered fondly by the many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours whose lives she touched.
She had many interests and hobbies over the years but her greatest joy was in spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren who adored her. She had a way of making any sleepover, day out, or even chores the most fun, and was always ready with a hug and just one more cookie. She made so many happy memories with family and friends here in Canada, and on her many visits to England.
Marjorie was known for her kindness, for being able to find the bright side of any situation, and for an inquisitive nature and mischievous sense of humour that never failed her, even when faced with life’s difficulties.
We will miss her terribly.
