Marion Morley

The family of Marion Jean Morley (nee Root) regret to announce her death on Feb 7th at the age of 96. She was pre-deceased by her husband John, her brother Norman Root, and eldest daughter Catherine Morley. She is survived by her daughters Christine Lockett and Margaret Creeth, their husbands John and Richard, and five grandsons Thomas, William, Michael, Andrew and Philip. She was a wonderfully loving, generous and compassionate woman and she will be sorely missed. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, February 17th at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, with a visitation from 1:30 p.m. and service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Marion’s memory may be honored by a contribution in her name to SOS Children’s Villages:secure.soschildrensvillages.ca/donate-in-honour or 1(800) 767-5111.
