Mario Vona peacefully passed away on Friday, December 16th, at the age of 69. He will be deeply
missed by his loving wife, Marisa, of 47 years. Cherished by his devoted children, Diana (Adam), Tania
(Drago), Michael (Patrizia), and Jonathan (Laura). Mario was the proud Nonno of Alicia, Andrew, Sophia, Adelina, Isabella, Luca, Victoria and Daniela. Adored by his beloved mother Giovanna. He will be
reunited with his father Augusto. He will be deeply missed by his dear brother Angelo (Lucy). Cherished
uncle to his nieces and nephews. Mario will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives and
friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 York Regional Rd 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Wednesday December 21st from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on December 22nd at 9:30 am at St. Margaret Mary, 8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge.
Entombment will immediately follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, 7300 Hwy 27 Woodbridge.
Memorial donations, in memory of Mario Vona, to a Charity of Your Choice, would be appreciated by the family.
