Passed away peacefully on Monday October 24th, 2016, at his home in Maple, Ontario at the age of 89. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Caroline (nee. Guglielmo) . Loving and proud father of son Albert (Sandy), and daughter Annamarie. Loving Nonno to Nikki (Alex Bissett) and Angela (Matthew Hunt). Beloved Bis-nonno to Jimi and Chloe Bissett and Miles and Owen Hunt. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, Josie Carcone, Tulia Ugolini, Ulderica Donadio and Anna Donadio, and by all of his nieces, nephews and family members here in Canada and in Italy. Born in Terracina, Italy on January 19, 1927, he is survived by his sister Maria and predeceased by his brothers, Elio, Ermanno, Cesare, Buonventura and Aldo.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9pm,
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The Chapel of St. Joseph at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd. East Thornhill), on Friday October 28th, 2016 at 11:30 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
