FARMER, Marilynn Geraldine (nee Bell)
Long time devoted soldier of The Salvation Army York Community Church. Marilynn was Promoted to Glory on Sunday April 15, 2012 at Canterbury Gardens, Peterborough, Ontario at the age of 77. Beloved wife of the late Clifford Howard Farmer for 56 years. Loving mother of Carolyn Smart her husband Claude and of Cliff and his wife Mara. Cherished grandma of Stephen, Sarah, Jennifer and Victoria. Dear sister of Harold, Eleanor and Beverley. Marilynn will be remembered by her family and many friends, and especially by her cousin Jane. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Rd, north of Lawrence Ave West) Weston on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army York Community Church, 1100 Weston Road, (South of Eglington Ave. West) Weston on Friday April 20, 2012 at 11 am. Interment will take place at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
