Marilyn Matsuda

Our beloved mother and nana, Marilyn Matsuda passed away peacefully on October 20th, 2025, surrounded by family. Marilyn was born in Etobicoke and was the only child to William and Eulaline Spiers.

Marilyn’s children were her pride and joy. A long-time resident of Brampton and cashier at Sobeys Marilyn was a familiar and friendly face to many. Marilyn was known for her quick wit and love for her Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Marilyn is survived by her four children Bill (Karima), Jodi (Michael), Darcy (Sara), and Marlo (Larry); seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
