Marie Amanda Taylor

Marie Amanda (Lee) Taylor, 95 years old, of the Village of Riverside Glenn, Guelph, Ontario passed away on January 27th, 2024 after a decline in health.

Marie was born in Ottawa, Ontario on August 7th, 1928 to Marie-Claire LeBerge and William Lee.

Through her love of music, she met and married Robert (Bob) William Francis Taylor on June 5th, 1954. Together they had 4 children Robert John (deceased), Elaine Marie, Denyse Pauline, and John Robert.

Marie and Bob spent several winters enjoying the warmth and sunshine in Florida. She worked as an executive assistant for several different companies while continuing to share her love of music with her family, friends and the Catholic Church.

After Bob’s passing in 2006 she met William (Bill) Studholme (deceased). They were married Oct 2, 2010.

Marie is survived by her daughters Elaine (David), Denyse (Blair), and son John (Delphine). Grandchildren Ana-Marie (Felipe), Anthony (McKenzie), Andrew (Alexandra), Ariel (Brandon), Evan, and Neil (Emma). Great grandchildren Santiago, Madison, Maximus, Valentina, and Lionel.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 30th 2024 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. A Private family interment will follow at a later date.
