Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends on August 30, 2014 at the age of 88. Predeceased by loving husband Donato. Devoted mother of Lina (Steve), and Frank (Lisa). Cherished nonna of Cosmo, Rosie, Danny, Claudia, Matthew, Michael and Andrew. Maria also leaves behind her
2 great grandchildren, Marcus & Ava She will be sadly missed by her sisters Laura, Anna and Rosa, and by her brother Giuseppe. Also predeceased by her brother Giovanni.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Monday from 2-4 and 6-9. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 8500 Islington Woodbridge, on Tuesday September 2nd at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
