Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday December 5th, 2011 in her 81st year. Cherished partner of Guiseppe Giovanni Miceli. Devoted mother of Nicolina, Antonietta, Maria, Nicolangelo, Francine and Angelo. Beloved Nonna to 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Survived by her siblings John and Carmela. Maria Cristina will be sorely missed by all of her immediate and extended family. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m and 6-9 p.m.
A Mass will be celebrated at St. David’s Parish (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr. Maple, on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 9:30am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
