Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, September, 2nd, 2012, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe. Adored mother of Rosario (Donna), Josie (Reno) and Amy. Cherished nonna of Joseph, Anthony, Diana, Jessica and Robert. Maria Rosa will be greatly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100 on Wednesday, from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Margaret Mary Church, 8500 Islington Ave., Woodbridge on Thursday, September 6th, 2012 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In Maria Rosa’s memory, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
