It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Maria. Cherished wife of Mario and loving mother to Melissa (Joe Zamparo) and Milena (Jaime McMahon). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Julia, Matthew, Elyse and Aviana. Devoted sister to Vilma (late Gianni Scandolo), Bruno (Norie), Edda (late Gino Brusadin), predeceased by Rosanna (Luciano), Mario (Marisa) and Agnese (Kurt Neumann). Predeceased by sister-in law Adelaide (Ettore Vanin) and Bertina (late Carmen Alfano). Maria is survived by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Monday from 6-9pm and on Tuesday, from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 150 St. Francis Avenue, Woodbridge on Wednesday, December 14th 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Villa Leonardo Gambin.
