Maria Morello

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Morello at the age of 91. Maria passed away on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.

Maria was born to Giuseppina and Felice Chiacig in Santo Leonardo, Friuli, Italy, on October 25th, 1934.

Maria is now reunited with her dear husband of 65 years, Sante and their cherished daughter, Cathy. The loving Mother of Carlo (Silvana) & Cristina (Tony). Dear mother-in-law of Leo. Proud Nonna to Alexandra (Matthew), Daniel (Sarah), Michaela (Dayne), Luca (Cheyenne), Valentina & Erica and Bisnonna to Abigail, Isla, Jaxon and Tessa

Maria will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be cherished forever.

Friends and family will be received at The Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm & 6pm to 8pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church, 8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge, on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 9:30am. A private entombment will take place at a later date.
