Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the age of 83. Devoted wife of the late Pietro. Proud mother of Angelo (predeceased), Connie Mordini, and Piera (Robert Langley). Cherished nonna to Robert, Louisa (Brian), Michael, Daniel (Crystal) and Sarah-Marie (Geoff), Mitchell. Bisnonna to Sofia, Olivia and Giovanni. Maria has joined her loving husband and dear son. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and family and those who have passed before her. ”Forever in our hearts”.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Tuesday from 6-9pm, and Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 10th, 2015 at St. David’s Parish, 2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
