Maria Di Lena

Maria A. DiLena, age 83, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 27th, 2018, preceded by loving husband Enrico DiLena, at Etobicoke General Hospital in Toronto. She was born October 30th, 1935 in Casalvieri, in the province of Frosinone, Italy, to Luigi & Luisa D’Angela. She was a loving mother to Romeo & Anthony DiLena and mother-in-law to Olga & Tiziana DiLena. Maria lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures; eating chocolates, cooking delicious home cooked meals and spending Sundays with her loving grandkids Michael, Justin, Stefanie and Daniel DiLena. Maria had a completely selfless perspective, and was always prepared to provide love and happiness to her family unconditionally, leaving a lasting memory in the minds of every person who had the honour of knowing her. She is survived by her sister, Franca Moscone; a brother, Alberino D’Angela; and many neices, nephews, cousins, family and friends whose lives Maria touched, and are invited to WARD FUNERAL HOME, 4671 YORK REGIONAL RD 7, Woodbridge, ON, L4L 1S6 on Thursday, November 29th, 2018 from 6:00-9:00pm & Friday, November 30th, 2018 from 2:00-4:00pm and again from 6:00-9:00pm to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, pay their respects to Maria. The mass will be held at ST. PETERS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 100 BAINBRIDGE AVE, Woodbridge, ON, L4L 3Y1 at 9:30am followed by the entombment.
