January 7, 1928 - July 27, 2026

For nearly a century, our mother, Maria Civichino was the steady heartbeat of our family. Ninety-eight years of grace, wisdom, and boundless love came to a gentle close when our beloved mother passed away. If love could have kept her here, our mother would have lived forever. Our beautiful mother has peacefully returned home. A long, beautiful story has reached it's final chapter, leaving behind a legacy of pure love.

She now rests eternally alongside her loving husband Mario, and her beautiful daughter Rosa. Their combined love remains an everlasting light in our hearts. Though we mourn her absence, we rejoice in knowing she is at peace, and we live in certain hope that we will one day be all together in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Forever in the hearts of your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge)  on Tuesday, August 4, 2026  from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish (45 Ludstone Drive, Etobicoke). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
