Passed away peacefully at Garden Court Nursing Home, Toronto, Canada on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at the age of 93. Born in Hungary on September 16, 1919 she was married to Laszlo and emigrated to Canada in 1956. Affecionately called “Great-Great” by her great-granddaughter, Maria loved to travel, read and spend time with her many friends and family. She is survived by her daughter Edith, son-in-law Henri, grandson Jason, granddaughter-in-law Genefer and great grand-daughter Alessia.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Friday November 9, 2012 from 10:30 am until a Celebration of her Life in the chapel at11:30 am. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
