Margherita “Rina” Rondana

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday August 14, 2025 at the age of 101. Devoted wife of the late Giacomo who sadly passed in May of 2008. Proud mother of Sara (Jim) and Giovanni (Christine). Cherished Nonna of Cassandra and Olivia (Josh). Loving Great Grandmother of Luciano and Jaxon. Rina will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Born in Italy in the town of Carmignano Del Brenta, in the province of Padova, to her parents Elisabetta Magrin and Luigi Brunoro.

Margherita in her younger years was a strong independent woman. She came to Canada in her early thirties, married and started a family with her loving husband Giacomo. Together the couple worked hard to raise their 2 children.  She enjoyed having dinners with her family and her tradition of making gnocchi lives on with her daughter.  

She will be fondly remembered for her kind, sweet demeanor. We will miss her greatly.

Rest in peace Ma.  We will always love you.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge), on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
