Margherita Di Salvo

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday December 24, 2022 at the age of 80. Devoted wife of the late Gaspare. Proud mother of Gaetano (Carmela), Enza (Angelo) and Gaspare Jr. (Emiliana). Cherished nonna of Margherita, Sara, Vanessa, Joey (Maria), Gaspare, Alessandro, Marilyn, Victoria, Gaspare III and Gabriella.
She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Margherita has been reunited with the love of her life who passed August 24, 2021.
Margherita’s family meant the world to her. Nothing would bring a more radiant smile to her face than the one that would appear when her children and grandchildren were all together. The family home would smell of Nonna’s amazing baking and cookies.
She was a devote catholic who was giving to anyone in need.
“Forever loved, always remembered. We love you and will miss you.”

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A mass will be held on Friday December 30, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
