It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margarita Cardona on March 14th, 2023. Beloved wife of Arcesio for 59 wonderful years. Cherished mother to Diana (Ken), John, and Arcesio (Grace). Doting “Maggie” to Christina (Steven), Jonathan (Emily), Samantha, and Matteo. Adored great grandmother to Eli. Their fond memories and her abundant love for them was ever present.

Margarita loved to read the news, again and again, sharing the stories with her husband, Arcesio. She also enjoyed sharing her love for board games, word searches and reading with her family. Her happy spirit, social demeanor and vivacious energy will be missed. She was the light of our world. Nothing made her happier than being with family and preparing food for them. Margarita was very devout to her faith, and enjoyed her time spent at church.

Our grief over losing Margarita is infinite, and our loving memory of her will always remain in our hearts. Her kindness, laughter, love and generosity will be with us forever.

Friends and Family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Roch's Church (2889 Islington Avenue, North York) on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 10:00 am.
