Margaret Parris

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Audene Parris who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday April 24th, 2026, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario.

Margaret was born on March 4th, 1952, in Barbados to her loving mother Esmay Lynch and father Rupert Alleyne. She is survived by her mother, father and four brothers, Tony, Charles Andrew and Paul.

Margaret emigrated to Canada in 1975 after completing her secretarial studies in the USA. On arriving in Canada, she lived with her brother Tony until moving on her own and worked at Sunnybrook Hospital until her retirement.

Margaret was a genuine private person who cared for others especially her nieces and nephews and would provide gifts at every opportunity when she travelled back home to Barbados or when they visited her for vacations in Canada. Constantly worrying about her mum’s health who is now in her golden years, she would call every day to check on her.

Margaret will forever be remembered for her generosity to friends and family and her impeccable organizational skill wherever she worked.
