MORRELL, Margaret “Anne” (nee O’BRIEN)

On Wednesday, June 5, 2013, in her 70th year, Anne passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, with family at her side after a year long intense battle with lung/brain cancer. Predeceased by parents William & Margaret O’Brien of Toronto. Much loved and cherished mother of Wendy Hines of Chesley and James (Cristine) Morrell of Toronto, devoted “Grammie” to Caitlin and Emily Hines and Jorja Morrell, dear companion to Kenneth MacLachlan of Mississauga, and dear sister of Daryl (Gail) O’Brien of Alliston. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 . A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 11:00 am Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
