Margaret Mary Davis

Margaret Davis, age 74, loving mother to Kevin, adoring wife to late husband Kenneth Davis passed away peacefully on the morning of December 27th, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Margaret was born in 1948 in Sligo, Ireland and grew up surrounded by a large family in London, England. The eldest with four brothers, Margaret was influenced by her mother to be a loving, caring woman. Always giving time to others, which she incorporated into her everyday life and motherhood.

Moving to Canada in 1970, bringing with her a keen sense of British humour that was enjoyed by all who were lucky enough to get their “knickers in a twist” alongside her. While in Canada, she carved out a life of her own, embracing challenges and building a foundation of values to start a family around.

Margaret loved the outdoors, particularly her garden and walks with her furry companions, Dewey and Cleo. Cooking family dinners over the holidays brought her and all involved so much joy.

Being a grandmother was unquestionably her greatest satisfaction. Nana showered her granddaughter Sofia with love and gifts. Until the very end, Nana always encouraged the importance of ice cream for breakfast to her little angel.

Margaret is survived by her son Kevin, daughter-in-law Xiomara, brothers Jim and Gerard, granddaughter Sofia and the many countless family and friends she touched through the years.
